“Bauman College gave me confidence and professionalism
. I would like to thank Bauman College for the opportunity it gave me to meet my life goal."

I graduated from Bauman College in March 2008 after completing the Distance Learning Nutrition Educator Program. Attending the Distance Learning Program was very easy, convenient, and insightful. It was the right program that fit my busy schedule. I was working 10-12 hrs/day and still found the time to study this desirable curriculum!

Bauman College gave me confidence and professionalism. I now specialize in holistic management of migraine headaches. Through my studies, I was able to transform my 18 years of pain into an expertise which serves my clients professionally. The program brought me a new career and a bright new future. It encouraged me to come out of my nest to share precious, valuable, and useful health information with others in order to educate, support, and motivate people to achieve optimal health.

Experiencing migraine headaches for 18 years caused me to became a big researcher of holistic approaches to migraine headaches. Results such as a decrease in attack frequency, shorter duration and less pain, made me committed to pursue the holistic path to find a permanent relief and solution. I knew I could not achieve this goal by myself. The information that I learned in the Nutrition Educator Program at Bauman College enabled me to achieve wellness and live migraine-free.

The program trained me to look for hidden causes of migraines such as low blood sugar, low blood pressure, low gastric acidity, food allergies, chemical sensitivities, toxicity, and asthma. Moreover, the curriculum has given me the insight and knowledge to help my husband who is dealing with many health conditions related to aging such as heart disease, high cholesterol, high blood sugar, high blood pressure, vertigo, acid reflux, and constipation.

Through my study at Bauman College, I have learned how important is to rebuild homeostasis, the foundation of wellness. Working from a holistic perspective, my specialty is helping clients (women) alleviate migraine headaches by addressing the underlying causes. In my practice, I focus on the Eating for Health model and consider age, ethnicity, activity levels, digestive competency, diet history, environmental exposure, drugs use, and health/disease status in order to provide clients with an optimal diet. To restore/balance a body’s pH state and boost immunity, I use booster foods, regenerative foods, fresh/seasonal/local foods, and chemical-free foods. The work is very individualized, as successful plans are as unique as migraine patterns. What works like magic for one migraine does not necessarily work for another.

The best part of my work is helping people to take control of their own health so they may regain their energy and restore vitality. I give nutrition talks in the community to introduce and spread the knowledge of holistic alternative medicine. My pursuit of a healthy mind, body, and spirit for myself and the community drives me to learn and find answers. I am dedicated to support my clients as they improve their health by assisting them with their nutritional needs and providing achievable health goals and healthy lifestyle education. My quick reference e-book of remedies for the most common health complaints is available on my website. Most of these remedies can be found in our own kitchen. Meanwhile, I'm in process of writing a book on how to Live Migraine-Free Holistically.

Bauman College not only provided me with my nutrition education, it also prepared and encouraged me to be confident and successful in my new business by providing a professional business module in the program which taught me how to run a successful business. I would like to thank Bauman College for the opportunity it gave me to meet my life goal.
