Cooking with Exotic Grains, Berkeley Cooking Demo

Discover the amazing flavor and high-protein value of ancient grains from around the world. Bauman College Natural Chef Instructor, Lizette Marx will introduce you to new recipe ideas and techniques for preparing these under-used grains and add a new dimension of texture and flavor to your home cooking repertoire. Samples of two different grain dishes perfect for the upcoming holiday season will be shared.
Lizette Marx, NC is a Certified Nutrition Consultant and Natural Therapeutic Chef. A graduate of Bauman College, she serves on the faculty as a nutrition and culinary arts instructor. Lizette maintains a private nutrition consulting practice and is the founder of Kitchen Treasures, an organic food catering and personal chef service in the East Bay.
