I am desperately trying to find a commercial kitchen that I can rent to use for catering and making some items I would like to get out in retail.  I know about La Cocina, and they seem a bit pricey to me.

San Francisco is idea, but I would be willing to travel to the North or East Bay or Peninsula.

Any help is greatly appreciated!   Kiss

Hi Simone,
Someone recently told me about this space in Richmond. Haven't seen it in person but looks clean and they do have day rates. http://www.artisankitchen.org/index.html
Good luck!

I used to rent space on a monthly basis from Carrie Dove Catering in Emeryville. They're not cheap but not as much as LaCocina I don't think. This was a few years ago now but I presume they still offer space. Adam Dove is the contact there.

Thanks for the replies!

I should probably mention that I did find a space: Eclectic Cookery.  It's in the Hunters Point Shipyard, which is actually pretty sweet.  A bit of a chunk of money to put down at first, but after that it's only $75 per 6 hour usage slot.  (12.50/hr) I think they're mostly filled up at this point, but that tends to vary depending on the time of year...
