Does anyone have any experience working with someone who has been diagnosed with having a gastric phytobezoar? Any information you can provide would be helpful. I did a bit of research on line and am aware of what this is but it was also describes as being rare.

Wow, I'd never heard of this before. Did you see this clinical report?: http://www.gastrohep.com/classcases/classcases.asp?id=47

I knew Coca Cola could clean chrome, but it appears there's an effective medical use for it, as well. The case study involved 3 Cokes per meal for a month! Horrible as that sounds, it may be preferable to surgery (and of course, some people would love a prescription like this).

Wow, check this out: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bezoar Apparently the resulting "bezoar stones" used to be considered quite valuable! Sounds painful.

Sort of fascinating and horrifying at the same time.

I won't be sharing this info with any clients in case they decide that they should start taking cokes as a preventative - LOL
