Yogurt Suggestions
«

My mother does not particularly like the taste of yogurt, but her doctor wants her to include yogurt in her diet. I'm trying to steer her away from Yoplait Light and more towards plain, organic yogurt. Does anyone have any suggestions for ways to dress up plain yogurt that may be more palatable to her, keeping in mind that she's used to yogurt that includes artificial sweeteners and flavorings?

What I do is to get the plain yogurt and then add a little vanilla extract and a couple drops of liquid stevia extract and mix it up. Sometimes I add a little honey, chopped almonds and blueberries to it too.

A sprinkle (or a few) of cinnamon! It hides the tart and makes it taste almost sweet - as well as the suggestions above

My daughter is also a fan of the super sweetened yogurts, but the other morning I combined whole milk goat yogurt (you can also use straus organic plain) with a bit of local honey a tiny drop of madagascar vanilla and some ground up organic dried lavender. She loved it!
