Anti-Inflammatory Recipies Anyone?
«

My boyfriend recently tore his rotator cuff. I was wondering if anyone had any anti-inflammatory recipes or ingredients I could use in my cooking. Thank you.

Add:
Pineapple
Papaya
Tumeric
Cayenne
Omega 3 fats: salmon, sardines, mackerel, walnuts, flax seed oil, chia seeds
Probiotics daily
Fresh seasonal organic vegetables in abundance
Reduce:
red meat consumption
nightshades
Wheat, dairy, sugar- many folks are "quietly" allergic to these and ingestion can aggrivate inflammation. Eliminate them for a week or so and then introducing them one by one to show any effects. If effects are felt, then eliminate completely for his healing time and work on the 4 R's.
