If you havnt seen the show, The Truth about Food, it is definitley worth checking out. it is on the discovery health channel ( not sure what time )
I have seen it a few times and it is very interesting. The show does experiments to find out how food can heal!!! The one thing I was a little disapointed about was the show that was testing to see if adding calcium to womans diets would reduce menstraul discomforts. So they added 3 servings of dairy a day to the diet. Nothing was mentioned about other calcium rich foods like kale, seaweeds or almonds!?!?

They also failed to add magnesium with the calcium. I believe the results were not as good as they would have been, if it had been done a little smarter! However, this is still a very intersting show. it is refreshing to see people actually paying attention to the fact that what we eat is very important for our health and vitality!!!
