I was wondering whether anyone has been able to get a practitioner account with Thorne Research. I really like their rice protein product, Mediclear, and I would like to offer it to my clients after I finish the NE program. It looks like they only sell wholesale to licensed practitioners, such as naturopaths, nurses and vets - not nutrition educators or consultants.

Does anyone have any experience with this company? My impression of their products is that they are of very high quality.

Thanks for any help you can give me!

As far as I know, only doctors can get accounts with Thorne, NE's and NC's cannot. They have great products. Sometimes you can get their products through a distributor like Emerson Ecologics.

Hi, Abby.  Your picture shows you on Bolinas Ridge, right?  That's one of my most favorite places to be.  I gotta get up there soon, It's magical!!!

Anyway, I'm not a doctor or licensed professional but I did have an account with Thorne that I set up when working for an ND.  I'm not sure if it is still open since I haven't ordered anything from them in over a year but I can check on it and let you know what qualifies you to have an account.

Thanks, Cathy and Nikki!

Nikki - the picture was actually taken on Mt. Tam - but I love Bolinas, too!

I've been ordering the Mediclear at slightly discounted prices from various retailers, but I was hoping to buy it wholesale. It sounds like you have to be an ND or an MD to get a Thorne account Sad

Perhaps I can work with an ND - I know a couple....
