Does anyone know of a holistically minded gyn in San Francisco or Marin? I've asked around among my friends, and they don't know of anyone. Thanks for any guidance you can provide!

Hi, Abby.  San Francisco Natural Medicine is supposed to be fantastic - they are located in the Potrero Hill neighborhood of San Francisco.  I am planning to make an appointment there in a couple of months for my annual exam:

In particular, Dr. Amy Day does the following:

I practice general naturopathic medicine with an emphasis on women’s health. I offer annual GYN exams and work with a range of conditions in all stages of life including PMS, PCOS, endometriosis, infertility, and menopause. As I strive to treat the whole person, I look at many aspects of health including nutrition, digestion, sleep, aches/pains, and overall energy level.

They take some forms of insurance - you can call them for more information:

San Francisco Natural Medicine
1615 20th Street
San Francisco, CA 94107
Phone: 415-643-6600

Good luck!

You could also take a look at the Clear Center in Mill Valley.  Try Dr. Beth McDougal.
