Great Green Water Bottle Solution

I appreciate the stress of reducing disposable plastic bottle use, but this bottle appears to be made of plastic, which has been found to leach toxins into our water and still relies on petroleum to manufacture. While they are produced in China and must be shipped here, I still prefer the Kleen Kanteen, made of stainless steel. And while the filter may be helpful right now, I believe that our time and energy would be better spent making sure that tap water is clean and old pipes are replaced instead of letting unhealthy water be the norm and just using filters.

This may be a step, but I don't see it as a solution.
