I was wondering if you offered any assistance in transferring to a school which offers a graduate degree in Dietetics? I am looking to take the courses to become a nutrition educator at Bauman College and wanted to know if it was a good prerequisite for a Grad certificate in Dietetics.

Thanks!

Hi there,

You would need to check with the school that you would like to attend after Bauman College to inquire as to transferability.  I have not heard of someone transferring this to a dietetics degree.  Also, since we are not a bachelors level program in dietetics, I am pretty sure that you would not be able to apply this to a graduate program.

But to answer your last comment, I do believe that the Nutrition Educator course is a good prerequisite for a degree in dietetics as it teaches you a different angle on whole foods nutrition than what you will likely receive in a dietetics program.  Smiley
