I am looking at another program that promises extensive business training in conjunction with teaching Holistic Nutrition.  Does Bauman offer training in setting up a business as well as other business skills?  Thanks!

Hello

Bauman College dedicates one entire module to Business Development in each of their Certificate Programs.  These include the Nutrition Educator Program, the Nutrition Consultant Program, and the Natural Chef Program.

I have listed below some of the important topics covered in the Bauman College Business Development classes in the Nutrition Educator and Nutrition Consultant Programs:

Building your professional identity
Diversified service and income streams
Elements of a successful businesses operating and management systems
Marketing essentials
Advertising
Start up costs
Licenses, permits, accounts, and insurance
Liability and scope of practice
Professional organizations
Goals, strategies and tactics
Proposal writing

Students also receive instruction and support in designing their business format, defining a price structure, and preparing contracts.  Bauman College supports you in determining your personal identity as a holistic nutrition professional.

I am always available to speak with you further.  Be sure to contact me if I can answer any additional questions that you may have.
