I JUST tried something amazing: A Peanut Butter-like hummus that left me feeling just as satisfied as the regular stuff. I usually get intense PB cravings and end up eating more than I wanted, in which I'm left with the "oOo, that was too much" feeling.

Does anyone have a recipe to make my own?

Check out the "Peanut Butter" ingredients:

The other flavors look pretty delicious too, Pumpkin Pie! Maple Walnut! YUM! Cheesy
What a creative use of chickpeas!  http://site.desserthummus.com/Flavors.html

Hi Nicole,

I used to make tons of hummus in college for potlucks and I have been known to add peanut butter to a hummus when I didn't have tahini!  It would add a nice flavor.  I would just use a regular hummus recipe and add peanut butter instead of the oils or tahini.

I never make hummus with a recipe. Just throw ingredients into a Cuisinart and blend and taste and adjust.  Have fun!

The taste-as-you-cooking style is my favorite! Thanks for the suggestion  Grin

The humus sounds good. I like to add a bit of  oil to my hummus, such as walnut, sesame, or flax seed oil. Also, cooking the chickpeas from scratch does make a very authentic tasting humus dip.
