Here is an amazing report on the cost-benefit analysis of a food/nutrition program as it relates to disease treatment costs.  The findings are obvious, but an astounding and average of 10-1 ratio (up to a 17-1 ratio). That means (If i'm interpreting this correctly) that for every $1 you spend on preventative measures that you are saving $10 in treatment of diet/lifestyle related illnesses. That is HUGE!

So when people say they can't afford slightly more expensive health care preventative measures, whip out this report.
