I started making gluten free brownies by using pureed black beans! They come out like fudgy- truffley ooey gooey goodness brownies! I even poured the mix into a gluten free pie crust and baked it into a chocolate "un-cheese" cake! Give it a shot!

Ingredients
1 can black beans, drained and rinsed well
3 eggs
2 cups chocolate chips, melted
1 teaspoon vanilla
3/4 cup maple, date, or palm sugar
a pinch of salt

Directions
1.  Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2.  In a blender or food processor, puree the black beans until smooth and creamy.  Add the rest of the ingredients and puree until smooth and well combined.
3.  Pour the mixture into an oiled, small suare baking dish and bake for 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
4.  let them cool and enjoy!!

These are wonderful!!! I made them once following your recipe exactly...yummy!!! I made them again and experimented used carob chips instead of chocolate and added some ground ginger and cinnamon. Delicious! Thanks for sharing this!

I've made a similar recipe before and they are SO delicious. All the burly men in the house ate them without raising an eyebrow.

Although they did correct me on the name of the dessert: "This is 'fudge.'" I think that "fudge brownies" could also suffice, but calling them just "brownies" apparently would be misleading.

I sent this off to my twin sister, she didnt believe me that you could make brownies from black beans. These stood up to one of the harshest sweet tooths. Thank you for sharing!
